James Michael DuPontLife Long Learning Virtual Conference (2009)

Would you like to try our new video/audio player ? (beta!)

Life long learning!

I would like to develop a virtual conference, for life long learning
basically we would have a schedule of talks every week.

With a Creative commons license of course.
With transcripts and translations.
A weekly video show virtual conference where we present topics like a real conference.

The format would be videos presentations, 1 hour talks.

Everyone would present a topic
and people could interact, vote, collaborate
and in the end, we could raise funds for travel expenses
and have a real Meet-up.

I would like to see more videos learning videos.
Because people don't read:
they don't like to read, and many people cannot and many more don't understand what they read.

we need to have open source videos with transcripts and subtitles or dubbing.

And we should make them in the format like a conference.
Like TED.

why should we wait for a big conference to speak and present things

we can save the world by saving fuel and co emissions and pollution and money if we just stay at home.

I have learned much of the problems in the world, and I think that many people would benefit

Expensive things like plane tickets and visas and other things are not affordable for many people
they cannot go to Europe to attend a conference many cannot leave thier country.

If you can present yourself and show how good you are
and also you might get invited to speak at some conference well.
you can get better from feedback and practice.
