Would you like to try our new video/audio player ? (beta!)

This is the widescreen version. Vincent Price stars in an adaptation of Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend".

If you want to make a DVD of the movie, click on the "All Files:" link; you'll find an ISO file. Alternatively, you can load the mpeg2 file into DVDAuthorGUI (a free program) to create the DVD structure with one mouse-click. The size of the picture is 720 x 304.

2010-03-05: I just added an mpeg2 file in anamorphic NTSC format; its size is 1.1 gigabytes.

This movie is part of the collection: Sci-Fi / Horror

Director: Ubaldo Ragona
Audio/Visual: sound, black and white
Keywords: Vincent Price; I Am Legend; horror

Subject: Sound
By far THE best quality optical version I have seen, too bad the sound is so far out of sync.

Subject: Dead On
Your own humble opinion will determine what this film does for you or does not. My own opinion only concerns the technical quality of this version. This digital copy is excellent, very nice, wonderful, first rate, superior. Great job in getting this film here!

Subject: Vincent Price is legend
It is interesting to compare this with the recent Will Smith remake. Both films have a different emphasis. The setting of the post plague New York n the Will smith version is well done, but Vincent Price comes out on top for playing the more convincing lead role. The ISO file burned to DVD using Nero easily enough, but I also had the soundtrack a few seconds out of synch (Nero posted an error message). Still, it did not detract too much from the film.

Subject: burn to dvd
GREAT. I've been looking for a good copy of this movie for a long time. The file to burn to DVD worked great and is the best copy I've ever found of this movie.

Subject: Audio synch
The video and audio are in synch in the mpeg2 file. However, the Archive has had problems with synch in the files that they derive.

Reviewer h92o neglected to say what type of file he watched; it must have been Mpeg4 or Ogg.

Subject: kill the zombie
sometimes when I wake up dead I find it a task to killing my zombie galaxies but it is more then easy enough so there you go...

ahhh the movie the sound was out of sync with the image by about five to eight seconds off.. what we hear would occur in the movie that much later...

time is what is causing the out of sync of image with sound as it was made a long long time ago .,

I still will rate this the highest and take time to review this because it is so "real" to life (back then)
