Bob Steele Mekodrama & All;s Well That Ends Well
Well, there's a western here here in the midst of an emotional melodrama. Steele gets kidnapped as a child, and brought up by nasty scoundrel Ed Brady (Lee Morgan), who puts some oomph into his nastiness and his henchman Earl Dwire and Dick Dickinson. Steele is reunited with his parents at the end. On his way, he finds true love in cutie Nancy Drexel (Sally Tracy), who gives a good performance. According to IMDb between 1926-32, Drexel appeared in 31 shorts/movies - she was a silent screen and talkie actress, a ballet/tap dancer and an excellent horsewoman - she retired when she married. IMDB says it should have been 58:00, but we get 55:02. All the performances are good, the action minimal, but sufficient and the drama somewhat moving.
