Subject: So So Creepy
The scariest thing about these is the creepy dude on the intro saying his "Lights Out" bit. The stories aren't the worst, but the hosts can be annoying. Mix of quality with this collection, though it is pretty big.

Subject: Well, Mr. Oboler?
I am absolutely addicted to these wonderful shows, the mis-dating doesn't bother me. The writer/presenter, Arch Oboler, was the Rod Serling of his day. In many ways, he's BETTER than Serling. These shows are still creepy, engrossing and fun. They also provide an interesting historical view on what was popular back in the day...
There are some doubles and even triples of episodes on this list. This is actually a good thing, as some of the fidelity on certain episodes is pretty murky. If you can find a double, it is often cleaner and more listenable. "Paris Macabre" is also noticeably sped up. I'm just glad to have these 70-year-old shows available!

Subject: Misdated shows
Lights Out repeated stories throughout its run from the 1930s to the 1970s (in a series called The Devil and Mr O). Many shows in the Lights Out series are misdated. For instance, none of the shows prior to 37-05-12 are known to survive. The shows here with those dates are misdated copies of later shows.
