Liz Jamieson-Hastings is a Waiheke woman who has written a book, Still Standing, that describes her struggle with alcohol and anorexia and how she overcame this. She now advocates for drug and alcohol counselling for prisoners.
The Waiheke library organised hosted an author talk by Liz early in 2009. This podcast is an edited version of that talk. The podcast was recorded and produced by Juliet Bonnay as part of the Waiheke Podcasting Project, an initiative of Waiheke Radio, with the support of the Waiheke Community Board and Community Education at Waiheke High.
