A prelim of a fall trip to the "Lost Forty" in northern Minnesota's Chippawa National Forest. This land was mistakenly made part of a lake in the 1800's by survey crews and so the land left un-touched and trees,mostly red and white pines, have been left behide by logging crews in the area, Many of the trees there are are over 300 years old!

Subject: Nice Work
I liked almost everything about your video. The trees are fantastic and the camera angles work well. My only problem is the soundtrack ... not the song I would have chosen......

Subject: Our fisrt studio post
This is our first Westwind Studios post on the archive we are looking foward to more postings soon and thanks to all the folks here at the archive and around the world for making this very cool place possible and accessable to all! our hata are off and waving it the air!!!
That said I like the video myself no dialog but to the point i think all of northern minnesota was covered with trees like what is seen in this video lumber and building were important part of development however the race for cash seem to show us that something mor important was lost enjoy and let us know what you think too!
