Subject: Great recording of the live D&G arrangements
DRUMS & GUNS is an exceedingly contrary album, deciding as they did to remove (nearly) all the guitar parts from the songs. Personally I think it works, but it helps to hear what the songs are 'supposed' to sound like. This excellent FM recording shows you many (though many songs have changed live already).

Subject: Damn!
I can't believe how amazing these recordings are! I saw Low live a few days ago and was amazed at how the "Drums and Guns" tracks sounded live. So much better/more Low-like. And this recording captures pretty much what I heard. My only problem is that on a couple songs (in particular "Violent Past") there's a little skip and a word or so is cut out. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it only the MP3?

Subject: LOW "Black Session"
Hi there! Lots of wonderful things in this site, really. LOW is one of my fave bands ever. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to see them live. This radio show is great, apart from Mr.Lenoir's comments --- the guy should learn how to keep his mouth shut sometimes. Anyway, thanks for this beautiful performance!

Subject: fine FM sound, hang the DJ!
Too bad the French DJ has to talk so much. Being a black session radio gig, he adds his 2 cents between every song! Otherwise, it is a great recording/show. Setlist is std. for the tour, no suprises. It is hard to get a feel for the flow of it all with the DJ interrupting all the time, but still very much worth downloading. Interesting to hear what they played for encores-where they like to mix it up-since they are NOT incl. in this recording but I'm sure they were played/hence probably recorded. Love that FM sound!
This is an amazing performance by Low. Unfortunately the announcer has to talk in between every single song, and thereby completely ruining every intro and outro :-(
