Subject: Great idea, great performance, great recording
The idea of simply performing THINGS WE LOST IN THE FIRE from start to finish was a touch of genius, and it's great having a single place to hear the live arrangements of an album that was coloured by a lot of guest musicians in the studio. The fact that the recording is superb helps too :-)

Subject: absolutely beautiful
The three shows from Melbourne are great! This one in particular since Low performs "Things we lost in the fire" in its entirety. As a bonus we are treated to Dinosaur Act's b-sides as well. Very respectful audience makes for a more dynamic show-that's what Allan says at least. All three shows are an absolute must for fans,
they are GREAT recordings!

Notes

tracks 1-14 comprise the album Things We Lost In The Fire and associated b-sides;
recorded FOB 4m from stage dead centre standing on floor;
mics at temples on glasses directed straight forward;
no equalisation, no compression, no effects;
conversion from 24-bit 96kHz to 16-bit 44.1kHz and tracking (sector aligned) in CoolEdit;
left channel +3dB right channel +4dB (a few hand claps hard limited) and fade in/out in CoolEdit;
