On Sep.17, 2008, in a press conference in Kabul, Malalai Joya's Lawyer, Mr. Mohammad Zaman Azhari told the press that the Afghan parliament wants to delay Joya's case and making trouble in its process. He says according to law, they should answer the court letter within two weeks, but since three months the case has been sent to the parliament but they are not ready to answer it.
