The show sounded like it was pretty decent but the singing along and fuzzy recording didn't allow it to reach its full potential on recording.

this sounds like a good show, but you have to assume what it would sound like w/o the taper yelling all over his mics. sound quality gets a B-, taper gets a D-.

Musicwise, this is the best show the band has EVER done. And it doesn't even have the set opener and closer! Equal in intensity to both Funk Box's, worth it just to hear the only version of King Without a Crown music combined with Close My Eyes lyrics. The best Warrior guitar solo, Fire and Heights Jam, and Got no Water ever done. Enjoy! ATD

Subject: Loudest. Bootlegger. Ever
Subject: Loudest. Bootlegger. Ever
Okay quality sound. Great energy from the show.
However...
the bootlegger is the loudest person in the room. He sings along, shouts "Woo!" and makes requests every couple minutes. The levels of his exclamations and requests is far above the highest peak of music. (I know it's the bootlegger because he gets called up on stage for track#14 and introduces himself).
It's the equivalent of being offerred a one-of-a-kind, special meal, but every other bite you take contains broken glass.
If you like this bootleg, you can also download other bootlegs and have someone whack you on the back of the head whenever you start enjoying it. It's pretty much the same thing.

Subject: Good show, problematic recording
Though it's true that, periodically, the taper's enthusiasm interferes with the music, it is the only recording of a great show. Sample a few tracks in mp3 before spending time to download the whole show if you're concerned.
Other than the times when the taper overpowers the music, however, the sound quality is pretty good - B+ if you don't count the interruptions, B- if you do.
Show Highlights: The Beatbox Battle is a fun trip, and this is the first recording to feature "Two Steps Forward". The blended "Close My Eyes" / "King Without A Crown" is excellent, and Warrior has a terrific alternate ending.
