Media Literacy for Media Reform: Turning Apathy into Activism

Media reform will succeed only if we can break through the barriers of work, time, family, fatigue, addiction and perceived futility. Learn how to connect the issues of media reform to the concerns of regular citizens, people who get most of their information from the global, corporate, media monopoly. This interactive workshop provides tools for turning uninvolved citizens into media reform activists and teaches media reformers how to make themselves into effective motivators.
