Meisselschieber is a group consisting of Oorlog Braatö and Rene Kita playing any instruments and objects at hand - guitar, bass, voice, French horn, self-built wind instrument, squeaky toys, palette knives, canisters etc. This record features Miss Porn Diva and Mr. Robert Johnson on the parts with 'Diva' in their names.
Like a dead pig out in the sun for a week,
Meisselschieber wobbles and wallows
- while things race and skitter beneath the surface -
without really going anywhere.
Apart from 04 Conversation, these are not straight improvisations. The improvised material has been ruthlessly layered, cut and collaged.
