I have many people to thanks for this run. Thanks first of all to Nate and Radix for accepting and uploading this run. I'd also like to thank Jason Wood for his continued support. A big thanks goes out to everyone at the GameFAQs MGS3 board of Advanced Speedrunning. Finally I reserve a special praise for Mettalica Snake for his help in identifying the weaknesses in old run and in turning driving me and helping me to optimize this new and improved run.
This speedrun is a Foxhound speedrun played on the setting Euro Extreme (same as just Extreme). The game is started from a New Game with 8 saves and perfect stats to finish with. This run is an improvement of the old run in almost every way. The sneaking routes in every area have been improved aswell as major changes to some boss fights. Thanks go to Tviks for The Fear kill technique. The fights against Volgin and The Boss in particular are far quicker and the fights against The Pain and The Shagohod are better executed. I also ditch the use of the DPM camouflage as some argued it was not a standard issue item, thus negates the new game effect.
The run is generally smoother with more thought and planning put into it. The Survival Viewer trips were limited to as few as possible and item collection and position was also put into consideration. Most of the major screens have been changed to make it faster than before, I am sure there will be something new here for everyone, including riskier sneaking routes, to a new quicker route against The Ocelot Unit.
I consider this run to be my own work and not a copy of anyone else's in any way. Though I have received help from numerous sources on various in game strategies I consider this run overall to be my own run and my own work.
Unless a major time saving technique is found I don't think I'd be able to improve on this run by much. I am delighted to have redone this run, and feel this run better promotes my ability. I'd like to wish the best of luck to anyone who tries to improve on this run, or any MGS run, if anyone has any questions about this run or is looking to attempt any run in any MGS game, I would be more than happy to help and can be contacted either via email me at flaringblaze@hotmail.com, or alternatively you can contact anyone including me at the GameFAQ's MGS3 Advanced Speedrunning board.
Thank you and Enjoy.

How long did it take you to play like that? When you were fighting the pain it took you like 59 sec. It takes me like 10 min. I never knew you could throw a grenade to get rid of the bees surrounding him.

Adnan, I want to start off by saying that not only am I a big fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, but I'm also a big fan of your speedruns, because I have all of them. I have never seen Extreme mode look so easy in my life, and what really was nice was that I was able to show my friend this video and it really helped him in the Volgin battle. I know you've had a lot of people ask you this, but could you please do a full MGS2 run? You're like the only one that can do it on here, and I want to be able to see a good quality version, not some all Japanese streaming wmv file.
