Compare past and present in "A Different Time... Milton's Victoria Park". The community common, overseen by the imposing County Court House since 1856, now Milton's Town Hall, has benn touched by development and change as the community of Milton grew. Given in 1854 by Hugh Foster, the land named "Victoria Park" has been the site of cricket matches, fireworks displays, moving picture shows and Remembrance Day services. In recent times, the park has been used to file a movie. As a playground and gathering place it includes items of the past, like the 1918 German field piece, the town bell, the war memorial and a replica of an early band stand. Through archival photos and scenes from today, commentary takes you through "A Different Time... Milton's Victoria Park."
