Brandon De Wilde plays a runaway orphan in a story set in the early 20th century. Lee Marvin has a prominent role.
Unfortunately, there was a continuous logo or watermark that had to be obscured.

This isn't a bad movie though I'd say it's one of my least favorite Brandon DeWilde performances. However - if you like the premise of the movie, I strongly suggest you find and read the book version. The movies misses so much of the story that was in the book. For example, in the movie the main plot is how Biarn gets past being taken advantage of by Tobias, but in the book, we learn how just by being himself, Biarn deeply affects the lives of several townspeople. That is entirely missing from the film and why it disappoints me by comparison. I wish the book was at archive.org but unfortunately doesn't seem to be. It is so much better than the film.

He was a very good actor and he had a very admirable body of work. Whether tv or movies, if his name was in the cast, I know it will more than likely be worth watching. Many thanks to the person that uploaded this. It is good, I wish there was more stuff like this to see.
He died just a few months after his 30th birthday in a traffic accident.

Good heart warming story..in color. I enjoyed every second. Lee Marvin is a very good "good/bad" guy. Don't be afraid to show this one to your kids or grandkids. Five stars.

Being a muley Show Me stater the title caught my eye. Then I see Lee Marvin is in the cast and I'm all in. Well there wasn't much to do with Missouri other than the title and a few passing mentions. The town name is not one I'm familiar with but the Warner Brothers back lot is immediately recognizable. Lots of good character actors fill out the cast. You remember Sam Drucker? Satisfying movie and well worth the time. Would recommend this without hesitation.

Remember when movies were about people interacting with people -- and NOT special effects -- that is "The Missouri Traveler". Great for adults and the kids.

Good job on the logo removal. It's only very slightly disctracting. You might want to take a look at these guides depending on white kind of a logo it is you could probably remove it a little better:
