Montana State Library (MSL) meets the information needs of Montana state agencies, provides permanent public access to state publications, supports the role of Montana libraries in delivering quality library content and services, works to strengthen local community public libraries, and provides access to library resources for visually or physically handicapped Montanans. As a member of the Open Content Alliance, the MSL digitization project is contributing Montana state publications dating from 1874.
