Subject: Standard Reference Work
This is a standard reference work for vocal literature, and a valuable companion for a teacher or student of voice. It contains an extensive listing of standard vocal literature, with indications for each piece of its range and character, and often a reference to publication data. Its main drawback is that it has a limited selection of 16th and 17th century works, and includes (for obvious reasons) nothing published since 1949.
