Subject: Cheese at it's finest!
I had heard of this show before, But it's much better than I expected. Featuring a parody of "Captain Video", a reference to Arthur Godfrey, and Not-Quite-Subtle acting, This is Cheese at it's very best. This show is cheesy, corny, silly but also witty, clever and FUN!
In fact, This show is better than crappy, bland annoying shows "MASH", "Murphy Brown", "Everybody Loves Raymond", Which were acclaimed by the critics. But then, The critics also accalimed a show featuring a whiny jewish guy mocking muslims and christians ("The Daily Show"), a show featuring stereotypes of just about everybody ("Angela Anaconda"), and even a show featuring another whiny jewish guy mocking conservatives ("The Oscar Levant Show").
I'm not saying "My Little Margie" is Quality TV, But it's FUN, Which instantly makes it better than everything on MTV today!
So relax, and hopefully you too will enjoy this cheesy and charming 50's sitcom, which may not be great, but certaining is entertaining.
If you don't like it, Check out "Studio One", a 50's TV series which IS Quality TV. Also check out "The Morey Amsterdam Show", which features some of the best Jewish humor I have ever seen (For the record, I'm not a member of any religion). Please also check out "You Bet Your Life", a great show featuring yet more classy Jewish humor. All have at least one episode on the Internet Archive.
