B for Brontosaurus is everything there is to love in the world of indie pop. Quirky waves of lyrics interweaving with with non-traditional instrumentation transport you back in time to a different age. Every song dabbles in harmonies while the trio trade in their guitar and bass for the occasional synth, piano or harmonica. For those familiar with B for Brontosaurus' debut full length, expect a mellow listen with the Home EP. This is their quiet farewell to the world after breaking up in 2008. The Home EP channels a similar mystique to that of Magnetic Field's “69 Love Songs”. From the opening diddy, "Love Story" to the upbeat "Trace", these songs are soaked in love and mystery. The EP closes with a short but beautifully haunting untitled that leaves us with questions. Whoever died, be it the band or someone close, they deserve a moment of silence. We'll miss you B for Brontosaurus, just as much as they'll miss all of you.
