76 NYU grad students and supporters arrested at sit-in protesting NYU's illegal and immoral failure to recognize the existing grad student union, UAW Local 2110, elected by the grad students. Arrests tincluded AFL-CIO President John Sweeney, UNITE-HERE President Bruce Raynor and Yale local president Bob Porto, actor Morgan Fairchild, UAW Region 9a and Local 2110 and Local 2322 leaders Phil Wheeler, Maida Rosenstein, Ron Patenaude, and many others.
