Subject: Food for Thought
Nancy Moser was my assistant while doing research on school hallways (see http://www.archive.org/details/video1 and subsequent video segments). As a means of comparing the hallways to other parts of the school, she also videotaped a couple of hours of children in the school cafeteria. Three one-minute segments of this video are presented here, with the hope that others will consider additional detailed study of the cafeteria, as well as other areas of the school outside the classroom, such as the school library, restrooms, school buses, and the like. You may also want to see my short videos of playground activity, also done for comparison (see http://www.archive.org/details/playground1 and subsequent video segments).
