Margaret Leng Tan performs the west coast premiere of Guy Klucevsek's Sweet Chinoiserie (1995), arranged by the composer for Ms. Tan in 1996, at the Other Minds Music Festival in 1999 at the Cowell Theater in San Francisco.

According to Tan:
Guy Klucevsek is a renowned new music accordionist and composer. Sweet Chinoiserie consists of three toy instrumental adaptions of Klucevsek's music for Chinoiserie, a music/theatre collaboration with Ping Chong & Company. The title of the suite's third movement, The Mark of a Hero, derives from the brand name of the toy accordion.
