Subject: Above average episode of One Step Beyond.

It's a bit above the normal fare for OSB. There are good performances throughout, but don't expect horror or sci-fi. It's more of a strange paranormal phenomena episode.

Fate can play a cruel trick on us. We think that somehow what is happening now is just that, now. This man saw the future but thought it was now. Have you ever doubted the veracity of your own eyes and ears? Let's think again. Good acting in this episode. American frankness meets British coolness.

Subject: Better Copies Coming Soon!
I too love the old One Step Beyond series, and the good news is that CBS/Paramount will release complete and restored episodes on DVD, beginning with the first season, on September 15, 2009.
It's not often that a series which has fallen into the limbo of public domain (and disrepair or a dumpster), leaving only budget DVD companies to release lousy quality, butchered copies, is then rescued and restored. But miracle of miracles for the fans, One Step Beyond will soon be available in great quality and complete form!
