A Few "Firsts" In This Unusual Episode
First of all, it's the first time I heard Ozzie sing. Pretty good - I think he really was strumming that guitar, too.
Also probably the first appearance of the late Skip Young, as Wally, who would later become a regular on many episodes. His last name was Plumstead [or something like that), like for real, and they used that name on the show later on.
David's ordinarily peaches 'n cream complexion looks like either an acne outbreak or maybe an allergy given his age here - many bumps on his forehead (look carefully). Looks pretty bad. Maybe Max Factor was on vacation?
The screen the people are using in the Kodak commercial to view slides has an image about the size of the TV show image itself - on my 21st century 55" flat panel. Heh.
We always watched this show, from way back (mid 50's, for me at least), and I actually "felt" like a Nelson it seemed so true to life - like you were there.
Great series and this unusual episode is a particularly good one.

Ozzie and Harriet rock my socks
I could watch Ozzie and Harriet all day long. This stuff rocks!
Here David, finally getting some attention for a change, hooks up a hot girl for a date. Problem is, she doesnt speak english. She also will apparently have a chaperone to go with her. Ozzie, thinking that the chaperone is a nice old lady, decides to come along. But, the chaperone is one hot mama who is also hot for Ozzie! She doesnt speak any English either, so Ozzie is caught in a predicament! Oh no, here comes Harriet! Hahahaha!
Rather risque and risky for an Ozzie and Harriet episode, this is nothing but fun, and Ozzie sings in the end, because he can! Just great!
