Brocka weaves music into the scene.
Ora pro nobis is a great film.
The singing welcoming freed ex-priest Jimmy Cordero demonstrates how Brocka has perfected capturing music into film (When Brocka had Sharon Cuneta lip-synch a Celeste Legazpi song for his other film, Pasan ko ang Daigdig, the result was not yet refined.).
Mahusay na pelicula ang Ora pro nobis.
Inayos ni Lino Brocka ang kaniyang technique sa pagsisingit ng awitan sa pelicula.
Nang pinalalaya ang mga bilanggong pulitikal, sinasalubong sila ng mga madre, kamag-anak, pari't photographer.
Mabisang audio backdrop ang kantahan ng korong sinasabayan ng gitara.
Maigi ang pag-sanib ng song track at ng dialogue ng batihan sa muling-pagkikita.
Nasisilayan natin ang imahen ng gitara,
at mas kapani-paniwala sa ating ulinig
(kaysa sa panlilimos ni Sharon Cuneta sa bangketa sa pelicula din ni Brockang "Pasan ko ang Daigdig")
na ito nga ang bukal ng musikang umaabot sa atin.
