On December 20, 2004, Outformation gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:

My name is Sam Holt, I play in a band called 'Outformation'. Someone
recorded our show last weekend, and talked to me about putting it up on
archive.org
I wanted to give permission for this to take place. I would like to give
permission for anyone to post our live shows on archive.org, unless we are
recording a specific show for an official release, and we would make people
aware of that situation.

Audio taping is permitted at almost every Outformation show. Audience mics
are preferred, sometimes soundboard patches will be allowed, depending on
the size of venue, PA, venue policy, and inconvenience factor to the
soundman.
We believe that each Outformation show offers a unique experience, and we
want our fans to be able to share our live experience.
We do not allow videotaping.
