Subject: Hi Chris
Chris, I wonder if you read these reviews. This is so random looking to listen to some of the recent East Coast Phil shows and there's your name as the taper!! It's Lisa, from VA now in Arcata... Hope all's well in your life and glad you got to catch some shows. They are a bit of a weaker band than some of Phil's other collaborations espec with Warren (I see them whenever they play in the Bay Area) but I will continue to support Phil and keeping the spirit of our beloved music alive as long as possible. There are still moments of clarity and transcendance to be found there. Hope all is well in your life!! Peace and Light.

Subject: Love 4 Phil
This was a great show. I just love watching Phil perform~ he comes across so boyish, just like a young kid having an absolute riot doing what he's doing, playing!!! That energy enveloping the crowd = couldn't stop movin'. 2nd set, fuhgetaboutit over the top. And the acoustic (a coup stick?) Brokedown Palace was a beautiful way to end the evening. Anyway, the entire lineup is outstanding, Jackie Greene definitely adds a nice touch. Not the best venue for acoustics, but still worth the listen (imho)

Subject: One Way or Another,,,,
Wow!! Been years since I saw the Dead, and this show drove home what I've been missing. This was a completely exhilarating and spiritually moving experience for me. I'd make the 4 hour drive down from Canada daily to recapture the vibe. First set started slowly, and needed a little more volume, but they got that straightened out. The 2nd set though? Completely off the hook. We'd have danced all night. Couldn't stop smiling. Jackie fits in very well. He's got Dylan's mannerisms down pat,,nothing wrong with that, he's a welcome addition. Phil seemed to be hammering home a message, as others have noticed in previous shows, and tonight it was New Speedway Boogie's "One way or another, this darkness has got to give". You made some personal darkness in my life give, Phil, and then soothed it with Brokedown Palace, a beautiful way to leave the show. Thanks so much for making this magic. Listen to this show folks, it's great stuff.

Subject: Amazing Show!!!
My first Phil Lesh show was definatly not disappointing. The terrapin Jam leading into Fire on the Mountain was amazing. I had never heard anyone play Terrapin like that. Eyes of the World and Scarlet Begonias were very tight with some very nice jams weaving them together. Phil and the boys even closed it well with Brokedown Palace, one of my favorite Dead songs. That song at the peak of my acid trip was the most beautiful thing i have ever heard. Thank you Phil. Thank you so much

Subject: Lots of Sugaree treats!
Freakin Awesome show! My first Phil show didn't disappoint. Phil must love what he does, he was on all night. Jackie, while seemingly under the weather, was very impressive on both guitar and keys. Nice surprise at the open of the 2nd set with Golden Road, one of my favorites! St Stephen > terrapin inspiration? Sweet!
The boys did well to warm up the joint, cause we were all practically standing on the ice in the arena!
Great recording! I saw at least 10 or 12 tapers there.

Subject: Awesome
Not as good as glens falls the night before, but
dam the energy in second, and the set list, i would've danced forever if they didn't stop
