Dopedrone was a project started by M. Anderson in 2000. He got his inspiration from shoegaze, stoner rock, 70's progressive rock and psychedelia. Fastforwarding 9 years later his visions are still the same, forging music that has a heavy downtuned basement sound mixed with light, airy and beautifully sad melodies tingling in the attic. His interests with subjects as ufology, alternative history and archeology, exopolitics and paranormal phenomena, to mention a few, are getting expressed more and more through his musical themes. In the last year he has begun experimenting with noise, or rather the beauty in noise.

The words of this Greek philosopher are quite valid in the mysterious times we live in today. Luckily more and more people are awakening as the new paradigm approaches. It is time to get past denial and accept the truth as the veil slowly uncovers before our very eyes. Some of the mysterious things going on in these times are the inspiration for Dopedrones debut album "Contact Book". Change is coming...
