Policy
Fog City Record's site http://www.fogworld.com/tape/ says
Fog City Records works with real live musicians playing actual three-dimensional instruments. Most of our artists (past and present), including Galactic, Garage A Trois, Mofro, Papa Mali, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, and Stanton Moore, encourage audio taping of their live shows for personal, non-commercial, at-home style enjoyment.
Of course, we highly recommend that you support the tireless efforts of these brave souls by picking up a copy of their albums. By doing so you help directly support these bands (and independently recorded and released music in general).
But as we realize that hearing our studio recordings will only whip you into a frenzy for more material than we could possibly provide ourselves, we encourage the taping and trading of gigs by our artists.
