Worth a watch.
Pro: Good suspenseful movie. Although I usually guess the ending, I didn't in this one. A real chiller.
Con: I downloaded the MPEG, which proved to be a low res image. Some pixillation in the beginning. Also I suspect this was edited for TV, as all the cuss words were bleeped out. I'd like to see a better copy. A 5 star film, but I'm only giving it 3 because of video quality. Audio was fine.

Suspenseful right up until the very last possible minute
It starts out with some very nicely done Civil War action scenes, followed a simple montage of shots to the song The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down by The Band... and then moves into one pretty weird movie.
It has some GREAT actors, like a super-young Joe Don Baker, Slim Pickens, Sondra Locke (from Clint Eastwood movies), and Ted Neeley - Star of the major motion picture Jesus Christ Superstar.
This is certainly a "B" movie, but well worth watching. I found it to be fresh and original (for 1977 anyway), and can honestly say I have never seen anything quite like it and it was really suspenseful right up until the very last possible minute.
