The Mummy's Hand (1940)

A couple of comical, out-of-work archaeologists (Dick Foran and Wallace Ford) in Egypt discover evidence of the burial place of the ancient Egyptian princess Ananka. After receiving funding from an eccentric magician (Cecil Kellaway) and his beautiful daughter (Peggy Moran), they set out into the desert only to be terrorized by a sinister high priest (George Zucco) and the living mummy Kharis (Tom Tyler) who are the guardians of Ananka^?s tomb

Subject: Copyrighted film!
I own this film on DVD and I know for a fact it is not in the public domain! IA should have it removed!
This film is also NOT The Mummy's Hand from 1930. This is the original Mummy (circa 1932) dir. Karl Freund and starring Boris Karloff!

Subject: Pill Popping
Some how I get the feeling that yakofujimato is popping to many M&M's. When the U.S. Supreme Court said it was alright to steal my images off the web and use them as thumb nails without any compensation to me, that is when I said the hell with it and I will download anything I want without compensation to anyone else either. Especially since most of the newer movies out there get deleted anyway since they are garbage and not worth watching or paying for.

I am just as pleased that those movies were posted even though I already had them in my collection from another website.

All the movies mentioned get a 5/5 rating from me.

Whomever put this up here, should be made aware that this film is NOT in the public domain, and has no business being available for download here.


It has not lapsed into the public domain and, I would be curious as to how this person came to the conclusion that it does.

This is an infringing item and should be removed at once.


And to answer your idiotic question, I must ask what makes you think it is? You've got a bunch of copyrighted movies them up here including 'Tarantula' 'Them' 'Mystery of the Wax Museum' all of the Universal 'Mummy' movies all of which are NOT in the public domain, and of which you have no right to be posting here. You need to know they are public domain before you post them. Why don't you show us what proof you have that they are public domain? These are all up here in violation of U.S. and international copyright law.

You can look them up yourself at http://www.copyright.gov

Or I can just go ahead and contact Internet Archive and the copyright holders and you can explain it to them.

Since you've requested proof, I'm sure they will provide it to you! :)
