Spring Break, the most notorious and evil week of the year (right ahead of Hanukkah, which is especially evil for its disrespect for the 7 day week as laid out by Jesus in the Parable of the Calendar Store), is universally known for its inherent correlation to increased Satanic displays of beer chuggery, breast flashery, and general chillaxery. Thankfully, Mike and Steve are on the case, presenting listeners with Christian alternatives to the standard secular seven day sin-a-thon that lands between Winter and Spring quarters.
Our first guest, Dr. Alan Desk, regales us with nautical tales, pertaining to his charitable sea-faring organization for children aged 9 months - 14.5 years, "Pray While Under Way". A sailing cruise designed to disseminate and insert Christian values into the youth of today, Pray While Under Way is celebrating its fourth year of operation (and looking forward to its first shipwreck-free voyage), as well as its new Olympic-sized pool. Featuring pearl-diving, belly flop contests, bowls full of Advil PM, and lots and lots of physical activities, this is one can't-miss cruise.
After a rousing PSA and commercial break (24:53 - 30:45) The Apostle B.G. calls in, and tells us about his top secret Spring Break plans to learn the ways of the Lord by studying Wooly Mammi on the island of Barbados. I don't want to give away too much stuff here, you'll just have to listen in.
Finally, we end the show with a recording of Mike and Steve visiting with Jemal Washington, head of the Black Entertainment Television network (BET, for those who can't acronym-isize on their own), in order to pitch their latest revolutionary idea for a television series.
It's a great episode, definitely one of the top ten episodes of Preach Around Season One, so tune in, turn on, pray a lot, and enjoy!
