Subject: Smokin' Texas Style
The first of 2 great nights with the Radiators in April. For me it is hard to say which night was better. The 4/20 show featured some chestnuts like careless Love, The cuckoo, and Trick Bag among others.
The Continental Club was a place Ed played several gigs with the Texiles right after Katrina and it was a treat to see the full band there.
I have been seeing the Rads regularly since 1978 and these Austin shows were the best I have seen since the early 80's. The shows are always fun but these kicked it up a notch.
Here's hoping Felix does more Smokin Texas Style shows in austin.
