Bob Moser edits The Texas Observer. A native North Carolinian, he edited the award-winning Independent Weekly before being named a Knight Fellow at Stanford University. Bob has been a senior writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center and a senior editor at The Nation. He's the author of Blue Dixie: Awakening the South's Democratic Majority. Texas native Gregg Barrios is a playwright and poet who wrote for the Los Angeles Times, was a book editor at the San Antonio Express-News, an editorial page editor for Rumbo, and a teacher in Texas and California. He is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild and on the Board of Directors of the National Book Critics Circle. Gregg also wrote for The Rag in Sixties Austin.
