Tim Hamblin is the Video Archivist at the Austin History Center and is curator of "5X5Y: 25 Years of SXSW Music." (SXSW -- South by Southwest -- is a massive and highly-influential music, film, and interactive conference and festival held annually in Austin.) Tim Hamblin has worked in the music and video business in Austin for over 30 years. He has produced award-winning music videos, taught classes in music video at Laguna Gloria Art Museum, and produced video festivals for the early SXSW music conferences. He was a founder and artistic director of the Austin Music Network (AMN). He is on the advisory board for the Texas Music Museum and on the board of the South Austin Popular Culture Center.
