Hirokazu Yoshikawa is professor of education at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. He is a developmental and community psychologist who conducts research on the development of young children in immigrant families. He is a member of the Board on Children, Youth and Families of the National Academy of Sciences and regularly advises government agencies, foundations, and educational organizations in the United States and abroad. Hiro Yoshikawa's most recent book, published in 2011, is Immigrants Raising Citizens: Undocumented Parents and Their Young Children.
