From the comments, sounds like Steve Kimock played? I think Jeff Chimenti was there. I was actually at this show but didn't pay too much attention to Ratdog. I hadn't got into the Dead yet. Now a HUGE fan of the Dead and all their offshoots. A very drunk woman sat next to me with her husband's best friend. She was hitting on the guys in the row in front of us. Eventually she made out with her husband's best friend. Then, she passed out. All before the Allman Bros started their set. There was a guy in the very first row who was cupping his ears and giving thumbs up the entire show. My wife got a contact high haha good times

Steve lights the place on fire in EYES! This is some truly inspiring guitar playing! The show is average for this tour, but is worth the addition to the collection just for the EYES.

Xtremely fast in the stream...thank you! Sounding good regarding wide open arena with stage IN the lake...;-) LOVELIGHT feat. Gregg Allman deserves 5 asterixes on it's own, but all in all I'm missing a little bit of tempo change all over the 2 hours, so I'll provide this with 4 stars.

Went to the PNC show on 8/22, so for curiosity I listened to your recording of Jones Beach. Not a bad AUD at all. You do hear some wind, but it also seems the sound improves steadily as the show goes on. Grab a few cuts that will get some airplay for the car.
Compared to the Jones Beach show, my guess is that PNC was a more rockin' show. The Cassidy jam smoked. The Big RXR Blues, Scarlet, Come Together and NFA really had some air underneath them. Hoping that whomever was down front, bout 8-rows in front of the speaker stack will also put up 8/22 recording. Seemed like a killer spot to grab and AUD recording.

Subject: thanks for a quick post!
I put "no rating" because I haven't listened to the recording yet, but I just needed to thank you for the super-quick posting of this show! I was at the show, so show quality-wise, I'd have it say it was just OK. The Eyes, however, was awesome, especially Kimock's solo. I think Ratdog suffered from the "opening band" phenomenon. It's especially bad at Jones Beach, where the stage is gigantic, and you see this tiny little band with no backdrops or anything interesting on a gigantic stage. Plus, for some reason, at Jones Beach everyone stays away in droves from opening bands, so to add to a tiny band in daylight on a massive stage, you have four people in the audience. I saw it there when moe. opened for the Allmans, and even, excuse me, when Motorhead and Dio opened for Iron Maiden. Tonight's show (Wed 8/22) in NJ had a lot more collaboration, with ABB in Ratdog, and Bob joining ABB for a slow, jazzy All Along the Watchtower. Thanks again for the recording and the quick posting!
