Noah HornbergerNoah Hornberger Shading Artist (2006)

A demo constructed for the Pixar application process. Each shader was built with SLIM and rendered with Pixar's RenderMan. Rather than using painted texture maps, these objects are colored and textured with shaders, small programs that procedurally shade each surface using with mathematically controlled functions. This shading demo reel also shows an advanced understanding of layered compositing and lighting techniques.
