"Wha... that's it?!" I exclaimed after watching "A Coach for Cinderella", my hands curled into fists of rage. What about the ball? The Stepsisters? And will the head dwarf ever fall in love with his noble steed? Fortunately for everyone, these burning questions are answered here, and the gags are much better as a special bonus. Cinderella (sporting an improved character design and a different gown) falls in love with the vaguely metrosexual Prince, but she must flee before the stroke of midnight or else... well... actually, she never loses the dress or her car, even after dawn, so I'm not entirely sure. In a departure from the classic folk tale, the Stepsisters enlist a hilariously self-loathing Wicked Witch to summon a batch of Evil Ghost Walruses to stop Cinderella's escape. The Chief Gnome ("We love everything! Except that.") resorts to prayer to save the day, but not even religion can beat the power of a BRAND NEW CHEVROLET! Great for dowries too! I kinda doubt a real Chevy could withstand a direct hit from a falling tree without so much as a loss in speed, but that's advertising for ya! Keep your eye on what the harp player is plucking for the best gag. Nice special effects too.

As Jim stated, this IS the sequel, no doubt about it, to "A coach to Cinderella".. and you know what? I really enjoyed this one more. A lot more interested characters (including an amazingly scary witch), a funny story and some remarkable animation. Almost all the characters from Coach are here.. while I didn't really like them the first time out, this was very enjoyable.. And highly reccomended!

It appears obvious, though not listed as such.

That "A Ride for Cinderella" is the conclusion to "A Coach for Cinderella."

And, both are of excellent quality for it's time and even by todays standards.

Details down to reflections in the water, background, great variety fo back up characters, shadows, the given appearance of lighting, consistancy in background and coloring, all well done.

It's a rare occurence that such detail is put in. Or so much variety. Jimbtx
