probably not aimed incorrectly
As the previous person stated, this was showing people during the intermission of a play, while the show itself was aimed at teens.
I think that this follows the same logic as why little girls play with baby dolls... they are acting out what they want to be.
So, this probably was designed to appeal to that same instinct of looking forward to growing up, and the advertisers are showing that even grown up, people can enjoy this product.

I Uploaded This
Unlike that overrated peice of crap known as The Betty Hutton Show, this is actually quite good.
The main problem is that it's aimed at a very high class market, yet it aired as part of a show aimed at middle class teenagers.
Still, it's pleasing.
