Common Sense
1. Good photography, production values, sets, acting, ect.
2. One of the very few 1950's British series produced directly on film (as opposed to tele-recording, which is the British term for Kinescope)
3. It is so hard to find copies of British TV from this period, that I cannot compare its running time to see how complete it is. At 24 and a half minutes it is longer than many recent shows in the English-speaking world, but runs a little shorter than USA shows produced on film during this period.
4. LOL, Awesome way of teaching a lesson.
5. The print here is slightly tinted a grayish-blue.
6. Exported to the USA at the time.
7. Something of a drama-comedy. You know, a dramatic story with a few comic off-the-wall comments made by the cast.
8. This was uploaded by the ever popular "Lum" uploader.
9. I do admit I watched this via DVD. However, I also checked the uploaded file and it seems fine, if of course not as good as an original 35mm copy, but it is fine for those wanting a sampler of the series or want to watch it on their lunch-break at work.
10. Overall, this show provides another reason for the long-running popularity of this story.
