Subject: What about you? What do you say?
An interestingly shot, but somewhat dry short of why the US must trade with everyone else, and vice versa. It's usage of 'Worker on the street' interviews edited so cleanly into almost a montage effect is really quite well done, but the subject matter and the totally stereotypical characters (do French workers really work with berets on?) somewhat interfere with the message. I found it surprising too, that EB took it into themselves to handle distribution of this film from 20th Century films, something which I've never seen done in the education film industry.
An American auto worker, a Southern farmer, a British machinist, a housewife, a French laborer and a Mexican farmer give their views on world trade. Points up the extent and importance of world trade, the effects of tariffs and the plans for trade agreements.
