The Onomatopoeic ManNoise (August 18, 2006)

This was a micro album that concentrated on sound produced by a device that I came to think of as a static machine. Terminologically, this may not be spot on as it is does not create static or hold a static charge per se (Christ what a parp). It is basically a device that amplifies, via a speaker, the breaking and reconnection of a simple circuit. Essentially a switch, but I made it in such a way that I could use the 'switch' to create many different sounds. This album is the result.

There are probably many better ways to descibe this piece of work - noise, may be a daft title - it implies something more general I suppose...or less depending on how your brain functions. If you are a cybernoid then get back to me, we could do some beautiful things together man. zzziiiiiiii

Subject: fragments
Fascinating. After a few minutes ones ears become atuned to the different fragments of noise. Soothing and irritating at the same time!
