Question:
Fans posted your trading policy to http://webdev.archive.org/audio/etree.php in hopes of having your shows hosted there. Can we have an OK for archiving your live recordings at the site? It's totally noncommercial, and both bands and fans can upload shows.[snip]
Answer:
Ok, go ahead thanks for asking

Policy
From
http://www.rustedroot.com
Live audio recording of Rusted Root concerts (digital or analog) is permitted and encouraged. Soundboard patches are not allowed, however. Your recording must not interfere with other concertgoers' view or enjoyment of the show. Your recording equipment (recorders, microphones, stands, etc.) cannot be placed in front of the soundboard. Tapers must provide their own power source, as no outlets will be provided. Recordings may be traded fairly and evenly, but cannot be sold for profit.
This taping policy is subject to venue restrictions, so if you plan to tape a show, please call the building to check on their policy, as it sometimes supercedes our own. Of course, this policy does not apply to festivals or shows where Rusted Root is the support act.
