Subject: I love this band!!
Shawn Johnsons songwriting skills are amazing! Throw three of the most talented musicians I have ever heard in that mix and you have the coolest band EVER!!!!

Subject: My Review of a great band
The only thing I cannot figure out is why fate has not yet blessed this band with a big fat recording contract. There are so many acts out in the mainstream right now that are so horrible I have completely stopped listening to "modern rock" radio. And I'm only 21!! It would be too easy to complain about the injustice, but it would accomplish nothing. Of the dozens of times that the poetic lyrics, incendiary lead guitar lines, and tight groove thrown down by the rhythm section, I have yet be displeased.
I suppose that I should write something about the music, but the best I can say is that you must hear them for yourself. Shawn Johnson & the Foundation fills my 'good live music' fix. Their shows are always energetic and the pure emotion put into the music by the individual players results in an energy and sound so pure that it borders on religious proportions.
This band is a must see for everybody. (No bad language :) ) -James

Subject: Finally on the Archive
I've been listening to SJ for years now in various venues in and around phoenix. He is truly a unique performer. Never have I been disappointed at a performance of his, they are always incredibly soulful and energetic. Get a copy of one of his studio albums and you will not be disappointed. It's good to see the man and his band have finally made it onto the Archive, especially breaking out with a great sounding SBD. Download it NOW!

Subject: Refreshingly new Rock/Jam/kinda funky band! Must check out!
What a great band! Cant believe I have never heard of you guys before! I must say that it is refreshingly different from all the main stream crap today. Incorporating a lot dynamic contrast as well as varied writing styles from song to song. When can i hear more?!?! 6 songs is such a tease!
Shawn Johnson & The Foundation blend musical styles easily from pop/rock, alternative,acoustic rock, ballads, to hip-hop. They have very loyal fans, many of whom have memorized all their songs and can be found dancing and singing along with the band!
Check these guys out now!! This is one of the hottest bands in the Phoenix area and could be coming to a city near you soon. Shawn Johnson is an amazing songwriter who puts his whole soul into his music. Hopefully we will be seeing more from this band very soon!!
