January 29, 2007 approval was given:

My name is Don Woppert and I am the songwriter/guitarist/vocals in the band SLM from Milwaukee. One of our fans who taped one of our recent shows asked us to write you and give permission to post a recording of our show. We do give this permission and encourage taping and the spreading of music everywhere to all who have ears. If you need anything else from me besides my permission please feel free to write me back or call. Our website is www.slmmusic.com

Official taping policy:
SLM allows and actively encourages non-commercial audio recording of our live performances.
SLM actively encourages the taping and trading of our live performances for non-commercial purposes. Tapers are encouraged to bring microphones to shows, as soundboard patches cannot be guaranteed and are available only upon express advance consent. Taping inquiries should be directed to slmtapers@gmail.com.
SLM also encourages tapers and other fans to trade recordings of our performances, through physical media or online file transfer. Regardless of expenses incurred, no money may ever be exchanged as part of a trade.
B&Ps (blanks & postage) are allowed. Tapers are encouraged to post shows on the
Live Music Archive and/or
etree. (We are listed as SLMjam on the Live Music Archive)
Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution of SLM recordings is strictly forbidden. All SLM performances and recordings are the exclusive property of SLM, and SLM reserves all rights thereto. The rights to record SLM performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, trading, and/or file transfers on a case specific or general basis. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
