Videoblog. In November 2005, Bishop Museum opened the doors to its new Science Adventure Center (they decided "Science Learning Center" wasn't strong enough), a 16,500-square-foot facility with immersive and interactive exhibits. The emphasis is on better understanding Hawaiis environment, in areas of science in which Hawaii has gained international recognition for cutting edge research (volcanology, oceanography, and biodiversity). Earlier this month was my family's first visit to this incredible space.
