Subject: Alistair Sim is definitive
Worth while in any collection. The Alistair Sim version is arguably the best and unquestionably one of the best, a do not miss. I enjoyed this, a different take. Well worth while to have and enjoy.

Subject: Adequate
I might think better of this version of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," if I was not totally in love with 1951's "A Christmas Carol" (a.k.a. "Scrooge") starring Alistair Sim. By comparison this 1935 entry can only be described as lackluster and a bit murky, which unfortunately also applies to this print. However, it is complete and glitch free. This is the original, full-length UK release. There also is (or was) an edited US release which is 15 minutes shorter.
