This is the introduction (3 mins) of a fifty minute documentary based on interviews with three Russian emigres who escaped the Soviet Union to Australia. Their stories encompass the Russian Civil War between the Reds and the Whites, the Ukrainian famine, the Second World War, imprisonment in P.O.W. camps and escape from the rise of Chinese Communism.
