'Septimus Bean-More Violet than Purple' was released in July of 2002. The sound of this album was inspired by blending the genres of 1990's Alternative Rock/Grunge and the progressive/Album rock of 1970's. The songs are generally longer (usually 6 minutes or more) and more conceptual than contemporary rock or Alternative music.
